Art Comission Agreement
Veekay will create a work of art based on the description given. She agrees to create a sketch from which to obtain Purchaser's approval before beginning the commissioned artwork. These images may be sent to the purchaser for approval. All sketches are the property of the Artist.
○ Payment :
•Digital art: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is due before the start of the project, and the remainder of the payment before receiving files. Via Paypal invoice.
•Traditional art (painting): A non-refundable deposit of 50% is due before the start of the project, and the remainder of the payment + shipping costs after completion of the project.
○ Delivery:
The Artist agrees to complete and deliver the commissioned artwork within one to 2 weeks (project may vary) from the start of the project. In the event that the project needs to be on hold, the artist will communicate with their client to arrange a new delivery date.
○ Copyright:
The Artist retains the copyright to all works commissioned by the Purchaser, including all reproduction rights and the right to claim statutory copyright. No artwork may be reproduced or altered without the written consent of the Artist.
The Artist has a right to use the projects for promotional purposes, as long as there is no monetary gain. Such as Social media ads, YouTube, etc.
○ Merchandise:
If you want to use the art work for merchandise, there will be a commercial fee 50% of the commission price.
○ Live Streaming:
Your commission will potentially be Live streamed. If you don't want your art to be Live streamed, please notify me and I'll make sure your art is made offline.
○ Right of Refusal:
In the event that the Purchaser does not wish to purchase the commissioned artwork, the Purchaser may refuse. In that case, the Artist will retain the refused artwork and the non-refundable deposit. This is free of any claims or interests of the Purchaser, and the Purchaser will not owe any additional fees to the Artist.
○ Returns & refunds:
There are no returns or refunds once the Purchaser takes possession of the artwork.
Digital items purchased are not to be resold and are for personal use only.
